Hook: As I sit here in my cozy home, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, I am reminded that sometimes the most unlikely places can spark the most powerful inspiration.
Style Scouting: Vol. 287
It’s been a banner week around my house, despite my right leg acting up. I am scheduled to start PT this week, so I am hoping they will be able to help figure out what is going on with it. The good news is that the weather has been absolutely beautiful – crystal clear skies, a light breeze, and in the 70’s. The kind of weather I wish we had all year long. It is making my misery more tolerable.
A Week of Beauty and Inspiration
As I sit around to elevate my leg, I have had the opportunity to focus on some of my projects and hobbies. One of the things I love about this time of year is the way the light streams through the windows, illuminating everything in a warm, golden glow. It’s the perfect time to get creative and work on some new projects.

Herons and Decor Statues
We get visited by quite a few herons. They always hang out on the dock and look like decor statues. It’s amazing how they can just blend in with their surroundings, becoming a part of the scenery. I love watching them wade through the water, their long necks bending as they search for fish and other treats.
Spring Cleaning and Organization
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been doing some spring cleaning and getting under things. It’s amazing how much stuff we can accumulate over time, and how much more organized and peaceful our homes can feel when we take the time to declutter and tidy up. One of the things I’ve been using to help me stay organized is a colorful storage bin. It’s been a game-changer for keeping my desk and workspace clutter-free.
My New Storage Bin
My daughter got this storage bin for me for Christmas, and I love it. Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I keep asking myself, “Why did I wait so long to get one?” It’s been a lifesaver for keeping all of my supplies and materials organized, and it’s also been a great way to add some color and personality to my workspace.

Ed’s New Favorite Thing
As an added bonus, Ed has been using it more than me lately. He loves the way it keeps all of his tools and supplies within easy reach, and it’s been a great way for him to stay organized and focused.
